Boston-based bassist/composer Bruno Råberg is proud to announce the release of The Prospector, a trio recording featuring Råberg on bass along Allan Chase saxes and Austin McMahon drums. This is Råberg’s eleventh release on his Orbis Music label.
Bruno has collaborated with Austin and Allan for over 10 years in a wide variety of settings and this project that features compositions by all three members along with some free improvisations shows the unique, intimate and creative musical relationship they have developed. The music is personal, evocative and truly original and the result is compelling music that showcases Råberg and his musical companion’s inventiveness, compositional prowess and accomplished solo work.
