The Mulligan Chronicles is an album of Gerry Mulligan compositions performed by musicians who worked with Mulligan thought-out his career. With an authentic feel and sound, these pieces represent some of Gerry's best pieces. I have been working on this album for a number of years and is the culmination of my research into his compositional style. I have always loved his music and getting the opportunity to record with such fantastic musicians, all who worked with Gerry, has been a real honor. I want to thank Dave, Dean, Bill, and Ron for helping me with this project. I also want to thank Franca Mulligan and the Gerry Mulligan Foundation for helping me realize my efforts. I hope you enjoy these pieces of Gerry’s music as much as I do.
