THE MISSING PIECE is the first single of MISSING PIECES TO MULTIPOLAR IMPERTURBABILITY, a multilingual and multistylistic experimental album that delves into the rapidly shifting narratives of our time, while also reflecting on the power of slow transformation. THE MISSING PIECE explores the deep, ongoing urge to find a sense of home, which Hahn suggests may be the "missing piece" propelling us on our life’s journey. The fragmented, disconnected phrases at the beginning, and a harmonic cycle build upon differently descending triads and root notes, evoke feelings of, searching, shifting, struggling, and yearning. However, this frictional energy also allows the band to ecstatically push the limits (and the volume!). Featuring some of the boldest and most cutting-edge jazz instrumentalists from Berlin, the album MISSING PIECES TO MULTIPOLAR IMPERTURBABILITY highlights Hahn's contributions as a vocalist, composer, arranger, and producer.
