This is the first track off the new album by Austin Di Pietro & the Borderland Ensemble, titled 'Live at Mackenzie Hall Jazz'.

Recorded before a live audience at Mackenzie Hall Cultural Centre during a regional Jazz Festival, this track captures the energy and spontaneity of a cross-border ensemble bringing original music to life in real time.

Led by Di Pietro and performed by musicians from both sides of the Windsor–Detroit border, the recording reflects a region shaped by both separation and connection. At a time when international boundaries dominate the news, Live at Mackenzie Hall Jazz offers a different perspective: one where music moves freely across borders and collaboration becomes its own form of dialogue.
