About the Album
In celebration of the beauty that surrounds this sunny season, I decided to sketch out a simple yet poignant tune. Drawing the voice and theremin in harmony and contrapuntal lines, "My Summertime Dreams" recollects Summer-living in the three countries where I spent much of my life; the Land Down Under, the Lion City and the United States of America (presently).
"My Summertime Dreams" is complete with a smattering of synthesizer work and beat boxing, and a 'thank you' note to the people who've made my life so rewarding.
The album includes seven tracks written and recorded in Nashville, and four from my previous album for those new to my music. ~ Shueh-li
