About the Album
This song is the oldest one off my new album to be released soon, composed back in 2020. It's dedicated to my older daughter, Klara Ísfold, therefore entitled "Ísfold" but that's a poetic name for the country of Iceland. The song features a 5-piece jazz band with oud and clarinet but also a string quartet recorded separately. I plan to promote the release by pitching to several playlists as well as to radio promoters in Iceland. Ísfold is one of the main singles from my new album Uneven Equator.
