About the Album

This is an original composition from the trombonist's debut album Hearsay, described in an All About Jazz review as a sextet so dense it sometimes seems like an octet or more. It features "complex and intricate interplay, tricky but still geometical textures with enough solo slots to bring out the individual personalities of the instrumentalists." Musicians include Brett Sroka, trombone, Avishai Cohen, trumpet, Aaron Stewart, tenor sax, Jason Moran, piano and Rhodes, John Sullivan, bass, Eric Harland, drums
