About the Album

This song is very special and personal for me. It was written for one of my favorite guitar players - Mike Miller. After hearing the composition he was super excited to play on it. A few weeks later I got an email from him late at night with his solo takes. Shortly before opening the Pro Tools session the next morning, my friend and colaborator Ruslan Sirota texted me saying that Mike died of a heart attack that morning. I was devastated. It was extremely difficult going throuigh the takes knowing that Mike is no longer with us. I picked the first take for his solo, remembering listening to it for the first time with teary eyes. I asked Gary Novak to play on it, since I couldn't imagine a better drummer for this composition, then someone who was his closest friend and music colaborator.
