About the Album

John Voigt plays bass along with his voice, spontaneously creating poetry in the jazz improvisational tradition. "a scat-tinged look at the jazz venues of yore" - WBUR

John's words are inspired by the drawing "0.5mm" by George Haynes.

Josh Rosen adds uniquely arranged Sound Collage - bits of recorded music and sounds carefully edited and manipulated to accompany John's bass and voice.
