Groove Orbit and You've Got a Friend: Groove Orbit and You've Got a Friend
At All About Jazz, we thrive on momentum, dynamism, and growth. While we often highlight platform enhancements and new features, we're equally energized by fresh column ideas and innovative content concepts. Karl Ackermann's Backstories, launched in January, exemplifies a new column that brings a fresh perspective on jazz history. Now, AAJ's resident RSD expert, Kyle Simpler, has introduced Groove Orbit. In Kyle's words, "Groove Orbit drifts through the stranger frequencies of jazz and vinyl culture—deep cuts, defunct labels, dusty grooves, and the stories behind them. It's a column for crate-diggers, midnight listeners, and anyone chasing the echo of something hidden beneath the layers of memory. Off the beaten track but always tuned to the groove." Sounds fun! Check out the first in his series below.

You've got a friend in All About Jazz

This past week, we received some positive feedback that we wanted to share. Building All About Jazz keeps us busy, but ensuring our customers and users remain happy is our top priority. Our guiding principles aren't rooted in some old-school approach—it's about common sense, commitment and an understanding of our shared challenges. We're grateful for the kind words we've received, and we'd love to hear about your experiences at AAJ. Feel free to email us, and who knows, your comment could be featured in a future newsletter like the ones below.

Ed Bride, Founder and President, Berkshires Jazz wrote:
"All About Jazz has been an invaluable asset to Berkshires Jazz as we tend to the Pittsfield CityJazz Festival, the Bousquet Jazz Festival, and other events. We're an all-volunteer, part-time group of mostly amateurs, especially when it comes to marketing. We have long relied on Michael Ricci and his team to save us from ourselves. The result is a striking presence that befits America's cultural gift to the world."

Guitarist Benoit LeBlanc wrote:
"Thank you for your incredible website and the valuable tools you offer. We're thrilled to be featured on a playlist for one of the podcasts listed on All About Jazz. I'm so grateful for your support of the arts."

Glenda Rush, Publicist, Vivo Musique Internationale wrote:
"So much gratitude to Michael Ricci and the team at All About Jazz, for so many years of collaboration and for giving the world the wonderful platform that AAJ is. Michael's personalized human touch and care for the importance of the details and nuances are so valued and appreciated."
