Album Description

Emmy Award–winning vocalist/composer Jeff Meegan and BAFTA-affiliated composer/orchestrator David Tobin are officially reviving their beloved holiday masterpiece The Season’s Back Again, reigniting a Christmas tradition cherished by families across the globe. Originally recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studio 2, the album returns just in time for the 2025 holiday season—bringing with it the warmth, nostalgia, and lush cinematic elegance that made it an instant classic.

Long regarded as one of Meegan & Tobin’s most heartfelt holiday projects, The Season’s Back Again features standout performances from Jeff Meegan, Steve Memmolo, Lydia Harrell, and the ensemble of Jo Goldsmith-Eteson, Sara Brimer Davey, Kevin Fox and Nick Girard. Together their voices collectively shape the album’s glowing, timeless sound. Its revival arrives at a moment when audiences are craving comfort, connection, and tradition—positioning the album as a must-hear highlight of this year’s holiday soundtrack.

For Meegan, revisiting the album feels like returning home:

“Like so many people, Christmas is a special time of the year for me and my family. My very first record release in 2006 was a Christmas album filled with music written for my two daughters and wife. Since then I’ve had the chance to write lots more Christmas music, and hearing the songs again each year creates new memories and deepens my love of the season.” — Jeff Meegan

Tobin shares that the project remains deeply tied to family traditions:

“I have two children who are still at an age where Christmas is the most special time of the year, and each year I can't wait for the build-up to come around. Jeff and I have written numerous Christmas albums, and hearing it back again each year fills me with such deep joy. We already have plans for a new Christmas album for next year!” — David Tobin

Listeners can also revisit Pretty Swingin’ Christmas, Meegan & Tobin’s lively, big-band–infused holiday album that pairs perfectly with the warmth and intimacy of The Season’s Back Again. Together, the two records form a complete holiday experience—one nostalgic and tender, the other joyful and effervescent.

In addition to the revival of The Season’s Back Again, Meegan & Tobin’s latest project Keep On Movin recently appeared on the GRAMMY® For Your Consideration ballot—continuing the duo’s longtime presence on the global stage. The album, recorded at Abbey Road and powered by a live big band, marks their sixth large-ensemble release with Audio Network and showcases their ongoing mastery of timeless, orchestral storytelling.
