It is dedicated to Gail Wynners who is an inspiration to us all. Ralph Rosen on harmonica. 3. What A Difference A Day Makes Maria Greaver / Stanley Adams Dinah Washington put her mark on this song. We thought we’d jazz it up. Jim Stinnett on bass. 4. September Song Kurt Weill / Max Anderson There is so much joy and sadness simultaneously captured in this great song. 5. It Doesn’t Get Any Better Than This Jack Perricone The title says it all. 6. What’s New Bob Haggard / Johnny Burke What a great way to wonder what has happened to one’s once loved? 7. You Won’t Be Coming Back Matt Nicoll / Jack Perricone This extraordinary song covers the lover’s journey from despair to acceptance. Greg Badolato solos, one take. 8. Autumn in NY Vernon Duke My favorite tribute composed for the great city. Ken Cervenka on muted trumpet. 9. For John Jack Perricone Gratitude and love expressed for the musician. The Man That Got Away Harold Arlen / Ira Gershwin One of the greatest songs written at the end of the golden age of song writing (1954). 14. Your Caress Joe Mulholland / Jack Perricone There is an embrace which comes from above that brings you to a place where you know who and what you are. 15. You Make Up For It All Jack Perricone / Mel Glazer For those who have lost love but have not lost hope of finding it again. 16. Love At Last Jack Perricone I wish this for all sentient beings. A special thanks to the many people whose inner beauty inspired and created the space for this recording. I am especially grateful for the remarkable musicians on the session. These songs are timeless stories of love. Some are poignant and subtly complex, while others are simply joyous.
