Will I lose a news credit if All About Jazz does not publish my announcement?
No. A news credit is deducted only when your announcement is published.
How much does it cost?
News credits can be purchased individually or in discounted packages:
- 1 announcement: $20
- 2 announcements: $35
- 6 announcements: $90
- 12 announcements: $180
Unused credits remain available for future announcements.
Where will my announcement appear?
Every published announcement receives its own permanent page, appears on the All About Jazz News Center and is presented on the All About Jazz home page.
Announcements are also distributed through the All About Jazz newsletter, app, RSS feed and news plug-in network; integrated with applicable musician and publicity-firm pages; searchable through All About Jazz and external search engines; and eligible for inclusion in our Trending News section.
If you've supplied a notification list with your announcement, we'll also send a one-time email to those contacts when the announcement is published.
How much exposure will my announcement receive?
Results vary depending on the artist, subject, timing, headline and reader interest, so we don't guarantee a specific number of page views.
Your announcement remains permanently archived and searchable at All About Jazz, which means it can continue attracting readers well beyond its publication date. You can track page views to measure its performance.
Does purchasing a news credit guarantee publication?
No. Purchasing credits allows you to submit announcements for consideration. All submissions are reviewed before publication and must meet our content and submission guidelines.
If we choose not to publish an announcement, the news credit is not deducted.
What happens after I submit an announcement?
We'll review and prepare your announcement for publication, correcting formatting, grammar and style where necessary while preserving its substance.
Once it is published, we'll send you a confirmation email with a direct link to the announcement.
How can I find my previously published announcements?
Published announcements remain permanently archived in the All About Jazz News Center, are searchable, associated with a musician's page and are accessible from your member page.
You can also find announcements associated with a particular publicist or publicity firm through its All About Jazz listing page.
Can regional announcements appear on Jazz Near You?
Yes. When submitting an announcement tied to a specific city or region, select the appropriate location under Regional Information. This allows the announcement to be associated with the corresponding Jazz Near You area.
For concerts and tour dates, we also recommend adding the individual events directly to the Jazz Near You calendar so they can be discovered by people searching for live jazz in those locations.
Can I include photos, music or video?
Yes. Announcements can support a lead image or album artwork, YouTube or Vimeo video, SoundCloud audio, Spotify playlists, press quotes and outbound links.
