The JoGo Project performed as part of the Jazz Hop on Friday in DC's historic Anacostia Neighborhood. The day featured several stages across the arts district with several types of music, with a special focus on Go-go, a subgenre of funk. JoGo, led by saxophonist Elijah Jamal Balbed, blends jazz and Go-go together.
