As part of the Andy Polay Bands, Polay and Burton have played together for over a year and a half before thousands and in more intimate settings, including festivals, clubs and the famed Rainbow Room in New York City. They have played in trio's, quartet's, and on that night, will play in a unique duo performance that is sure to please your jazz palate. Rahn Burton- keyboards, Andy Polay- drums.

Rahn Burton is a stellar pianist who's extensive credits include Stanley Turrentine, Rassan Roland Kirk, and countless others, spanning the world on tour and on many sessions, including his signature album, The Poem. His style transcends the modern, bop, post-bop, and hard bop jazz in a way that only he can play. His flair and heart-felt style are only matched by the drama he produces in every measure of music.

Andy Polay is the bandleader of his own, multi-faceted jazz ensemble. Besides his stage partnership with Rahn, Andy's credits include bass player Bill Davis (Sun Ra, Ray Charles, Kenny Durham, and many other credits), Rick Kriska (4 Tops, Ashford and Simpson, and more), and a host of others. His style is a blend ranging from the taste he simmers in his brush work, to the swing of straight ahead jazz and non-traditional bop and hard bop, And he'll surprise you when he mixes in a healthy dose of funk and fusion jazz.

The BeanRunner Cafe is located at 201 S Division Street @ Esther in Peekskill NY. The BeanRunner Cafe and Gallery hours are daily, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
