“Most Sunday Afternoons," 11pm to 2pm. Where: Harbor Landing 2810 so Harbor Blvd., Oxnard Tel: 805 985-5779 Purpose of this event: To provide a “supportive environment" for musicians, singers, and songwriters to perform their music in front of a live audience.
Who plays? Musicians, singers, and songwriters who are perfecting new material or just wish to interact with other musicians in a live performance experience and who wish to perfect their performance skills while benefiting from the learning experience made possible by the presence of other musicians and express themselves in a formal environment with a live audience. Who is the Audience? The audience is generally a diverse mix of locals, tourists, musicians, and other people who share a love of both original and popular music. How It Works: Artists who wish to perform MUST put their name on the sign-up list in the first available space. When the artist is announced, their instrument should be tuned and they should be ready to perform. How Many Songs? - Each performer plays 3 songs (sometimes 2 depending on time of day and number of performers) during each set. Once the performer finishes their set they are welcome to sign up again for another set, after leaving the stage.
