MARTIN TAYLOR was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire. The MBE, awarded to Taylor by Her Majesty The Queen for his services to jazz, will be presented to him at Buckingham Palace later this year. This is the first time a jazz guitarist ever received this award.
