Fred Adams has been giving his primary focus to the Sun Ra Arkestra during his 20 years of uninterrupted dedication to the Arkestra. His long standing relationship with the Arkestra has not interfered with his ability to do a successful side project dedicated to the music of Lee Morgan and Hank Mobley, namely the Philadelphia Heritage Arts Ensemble. This band features compositions by Lee Morgan and Hank Mobley, along with original compositions by Fred Adams that capture the spirit and sound of the Morgan and Mobley era.
This Triad performance is in support of the Philadelphia Heritage Arts Ensemble's CD “Under The Bridge" on the Dreambox label. The musicians on August 10 are:
