The video is a 'sneak peek' at a much more comprehensive video that the site's creator Edward Weiss has placed in a member's only area.

The title of the new lesson 'First Glimpse of Spring' shows students how to use a bass-chord pattern and a few chords from the Key of B Major to create a wistful spring mood.

Here's what the video's creator, Edward Weiss has to say about it:

“I wanted to show students how to improvise something in the Key of B Major. This Key has a lot of sharps in it which can be intimidating to many, but since I teach a chord-based approach to learning piano, all students have to do is learn the chords and scale in B Major and that's that."

Weiss adds...

“To me, improvisation is the most important skill a piano student can learn because it allows for freedom of expression. And, more importantly, it teaches the student the importance of 'moving forward' without having to stop all the time because of uncertainty."
