LOVINGLY WORKED OVER IN RARE UPCOMING SHOWS



Mushroom


Long running Oakland, California psych-rock-jazz pilgrims Mushroom are scheduled to play Pete Townshend's rock opera Lifehouse featuring songs from The Who's Who's Next. Currently, there are only two performances taking place in the Bay Area:



Saturday, February 21
Make-Out Room
3225 22nd street, San Francisco, 94110
(early show begins at 8 pm !)



Friday, March 6
Starry Plough
3101 Shattuck avenue, Berkeley 94705
(show time: 10 pm)



Mushroom will be joined by vocalist Patty Spiglanin at these shows, as well as a pair of exciting opening guest acts. On February 21 at the Make-Out Room it will be Chris Von Sneidern performing Pete Townshend's debut solo album, Who Came First. On March 6 at the Starry Plough, it's Mike Therieau with a tribute to Ronnie Lane & The Faces.



For the past decade, Mushroom's blend of tribal drumming, space rock guitars, and trippy keyboards has blended together to create psychedelic jams and mind-expanding sounds across Europe and on stages around the Bay Area.
