Pianist Turiya Mareya performs Latin Jazz with vocalist and percussionist Amparito Escovar. Direct from Cali Columbia Amparito is known for her soulful renditions of traditional Boleros and her fiery percussion work. Also perfoming is Skip Howlett on Drums known for his work with Tito Puente, Mongo Santamaria and Dave Valentine. Joining them on Bass is Ignacio Arango from Havana Cuba. David Millard plays flute, piccolo and Guitar. You can see them every Friday night from 8 to 12 pm at Mambo's located at 1947 Fern street in Golden Hills where you can enjoy the best in Cuban Cuisine and imported Beer and Wine.
