KEN WATTERS GROUP CD TO BE RELEASED APRIL 3RD ON SUMMIT RECORDS

On April 3rd, Ken Watters Group will release their first quartet CD, Southern Exposure, internationally on Summit Records. The CD features a mix of originals, jazz standards, and acoustic jazz renditions of traditionally non-jazz tunes ("Jessica" by The Allman Brothers, “Both Sides Now" by Joni Mitchell, etc).

Special guest saxophonist on Southern Exposure is Palmetto Recording Artist Joel Frahm. Frahm plays soprano and tenor saxophones on three tracks on the title.

Trumpeter Ken Watters and his group are featured on two previous Summit releases (Brothers & Brothers II, along with trombonist Harry Watters), the most recent having remained in the top 50 on the US jazz charts for 6 weeks.

All recordings by Watters are produced by Johnny Sandlin (Allman Brothers, Widespread Panic, Dixie Dregs, etc).

Southern Exposure will be available in all major CD stores in the US & Canada, as well as all online CD sites.
