Jazz Radio and Industry Web Site Publishes Jazz and Smooth Jazz Charts

ROCHESTER, NY-Yellow Dog Communications, Inc. has launched a new web site for the Jazz Music Industry - The Yellow Dog Jazz Report (http://www.yellowdog.com/).

This web site will become the primary source of information for Jazz Radio and the Jazz Music Industry.  The Yellow Dog Jazz Report provides the definitive Jazz and Smooth Jazz weekly national radio airplay charts while reporting on news, events, and activities.

The weekly charts are tabulated from playlists submitted by Jazz and Smooth Jazz radio stations across the United States and Canada. "This allows record companies - both large and independent- and others in the industry, to gather data in one place," said Tony Gasparre, Publisher of the Yellow Dog Jazz Report.

Public sections of the web site display news, features, and the previous week's charts.  There are two other sections that are password-protected.  One of those sections is for reporting radio stations, who can view airplay reports from other reporting stations, a listing of upcoming releases, and upcoming jazz birthdays to aid in show preparation.

The other password-protected section is for industry subscribers, where they can obtain detailed radio airplay data.  Every Friday, the current Jazz and Smooth Jazz charts will be posted, along with each station's individual report.  Airplay data for each release will be provided, showing week-by-week spins and stations reporting the release.
