The Kaufman Center announces the 50th Anniversary of the Lucy Moses School, which was founded in 1952 as the Hebrew Art School for Music and Dance. In five decades, the School has grown to be one of the largest of its kind in the country, serving nearly 3,000 students annually and offering a comprehensive curriculum of classes with an award-winning faculty. A leader in providing high-quality arts education, the Lucy Moses School is one of the three unique divisions of the Kaufman Center, which also includes Merkin Concert Hall and the Special Music School (P.S. 859).
