San Diego, CA- On the heels of his highly acclaimed production of Together in the Fires of Delight, choreographer John Malashock enters into a new collaboration entitled Dance Stories, to be presented in the Copley Auditorium at the San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park on May 18 and 19, 2001.

As part of the Performances at the Museum series curated by Wes Brustad, Malashock will team up with great jazz guitarists Art Johnson and Joey Carano for an evening of precision, beauty, class and style. He will present nearly a dozen new dances set to the ballads of George and Ira Gershwin, Django Reinhardt and other jazz greats. The evening will also include Johnson and Carano on their own, offering additional jazz selections. It promises to be an unforgettable evening of jazz and dance.
