International Jazz Competition

The 2nd Annual Jazzconnect.com Jazz Competition has begun. The first and only Internet based jazz competition where the voting is done on-line, jazz musicians from over 11 countries have entered so far. Contestants can enter until December 1st and the voting goes till December 15th. A winner will be announced December 20th

Jazz musicians from around the world are invited to participate and fans are invited to cast their vote! Contestants must submit a recorded performance to Jazzconnect.com. The recording will be placed on the website “competition stage" in Real Audio format. The jazz community will be able to listen to the entries and vote on-line. The winner will receive a grand prize that includes airfare to Washington, DC, deluxe hotel accommodations and a paid gig at one of the best jazz clubs in the world that will be recorded live and pressed into a CD. The winner will receive 300 CDs to use for promotion or to sell
