Guitar Legend Wayne Krantz Teams up with Abstract Logix Music

Guitar icon Wayne Krantz has signed with Abstract Logix to release his first studio album in thirteen years.

Wayne will return with his highly respected trio which features Keith Carlock (Steely Dan, Sting) on drums and Tim Lefebvre on bass which so successfully set the city of New York abuzz over its fantastic gigs at the 55 Bar. The new album, yet unnamed, will be recorded in March.

Jackie Rebora, a longtime Los Angeles nightclub owner, hotel executive and restaurateur, died of complications from pneumonia and heart failure Jan. 5 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She was 77 and lived in Beverly Hills.

Jazz artist Liza Lee’s new CD, Anima, is due to be released January 27, 2009, on the Jazz Doll Records label. It is an extremely personal CD.

Ricardo Montalban 'Fantasy Island' Actor Dies

Ricardo Montalban, the suave leading man who was one of the first Mexican-born actors to make it big in Hollywood and who was best known for his role as Mr. Roarke on TV's Fantasy Island, has died. He was 88.

Montalban died Wednesday morning at his Los Angeles home of complications related to old age, said his son-in-law, Gilbert Smith.
