He teamed with like-minded songwriters Matthew Sweet and Pete Droge for the 2003 spin-off ...

Adam Deitch :: Jazz Fest 2008 by Zach Denis There is nothing in the world like the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, a veritable smorgasbord of music, culture, food, costume, people and energy, native to the Crescent City but descended upon by folks from the four corners of the globe. This year was particularly special as it was the first time since Hurricane ...

I am currently listening to one of the tracks of this album which will soon be released. The track is called “The Duel Of The Jester & The Tyrant", originally from the “Romantic Warrior" album, and it will now be part of “The Anthology", a compilation album released at the occasion of Return To Forever's reunion tour. What strikes me when listening to it again after a couple of decades is : first : the absolutely stellar instrumental skills of ...

I took a break from writing this morning and went for a ride with my friend Bianchi Vigorelli (pictured). Here in the lee of the Cascades, it was the first truly hot day of the year. Melted snow is rushing off the mountains, filling the rivers to the tops of their banks, running them fast and muddy, carrying along the occasional downed tree and drowned animal. The Yakima and the Naches are not at official flood stage, but they're getting ...
