Nickelback Signs Up With Live Nation

Less than a week after its deal with Shakira was confirmed, the entertainment marketing company Live Nation has signed the Canadian rock band Nickelback to another long-term worldwide contract for recordings, touring, merchandise and other rights, the company announced. Pioneer Develops 400-Gbyte Blu-Ray Compatible Disc

apan's Pioneer Corp.has developed an optical disc capable of holding 400 Gbytes, or about sixteen times the capacity of today's Blu-ray discs. The technology is also backwards-compatible with the Blu-ray technology, Pioneer said, as the objective lens optical specifications are the same as used by the lenses in BD drives.
