CMA Announces Presenter Consortium For Jazz Grant Opportunity

This season, Chamber Music America pilots a new grant opportunity, Presenter Consortium for Jazz, in direct response to presenters’ recommendations gathered during CMA’s National Conversations. This replaces Presenting Jazz, a CMA program from 2009-13 that granted over $500,000 to 64 presenting organizations for chamber jazz concerts. Presenter Consortium for Jazz provides support to consortiums of three U. S. presenters that collectively engage up to three professional U.S. jazz ensembles (consisting of 2-10 musicians each) to perform at each presenter’s venue. ...
