The 2009 Harlem in the Himalayas Jazz Series schedule at The Rubin Museum has been released. The schedule will include some additions before January, however below is the line up to date. If you have not been to the Rubin Museum, please make it a point to join us for the new season. The performances are in one of the most advanced acoustical rooms in New York City. Tickets prices are very reasonable, and each show has the artist presenting a new composition that was inspired by a Himalayan work of art that resides in the museum. It is a requirement of Museum that if an artist is performing at the Rubin they must come in advance and select a piece of artwork and compose a new piece based on the piece they select. Let us support the new season and be good to the music.
