Though the venerable jazz drummer Louis Hayes has been performing for more than 40 years now, he has no plans to retire anytime soon. For the last twenty-plus years, Mr. Hayes has led or co-led some of the most uncompromisingly swinging groups in all of jazz. Jazz at Lincoln Center (J@LC) proudly presents this legendary drummer in three nights of concerts as part of its yearlong celebration of the drum. Taking place on Thursday, Friday & Saturday, February 20, 21 & 22, 2003 at 8pm in the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse, the concert titled
