Start your weekend with beauty, history, and romance at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. On Friday Evenings, the Museum's galleries remain open as internationally-acclaimed jazz artists perform in the Great Stair Hall and cocktails and light fare are served. Friday Evening programs run from 5:00 to 8:45 p.m. and are subject to change. Guided tours are offered at 5:30 and 6:45 p.m. There is no additional charge for musical offerings or guided tours after Museum admission.

Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble
Warren Oree originated the Arpeggio sound in 1979. Since then the group has been performing original and standard compositions with music ranging from soft, contemplative melodies to energetic, multi-rhythmic arrangements. The ensemble has shared their creative energy at jazz festivals and clubs in Brazil, Europe, and the Caribbean. Joining Oree are Umar Raheem, tenor and soprano sax; Greg “Ju-Ju" Jones, drums; Frank Butrey, guitar; and Doug “Pablow" Edwards, congas and percussion.
