Dave Stryker and "Shades of Miles" Band CD Release Party

Steeplechase Records is pleased to announce the appearance of guitarist Dave Stryker at the Blue Note to showcase his “Shades Of Miles" project.

“Shades Of Miles" was inspired by Miles Davis 70s recordings “Bitches Brew", “In A Silent Way" and Live-Evil". Dave's idea was not to imitate, but to create an atmosphere in which the musicians could interact in a setting dedicated to Miles.

Dave Liebman sums it up this way:

“Dave Stryker and his band have created a wonderful and joyous palette of sound for you to enjoy with the ghost of the Prince of Darkness looming in the shadows. I could imagine Miles listening and voicing his approval of this recording".
