Clare Teal confirms Portugal dates

Uk Jazz singer Clare Teal has confirmed that she will be playing two concerts in Portugal this weekend as part of the “Divas of Jazz" Tour. For a while it looked as though her rapid rise in popularity in the UK over the past few months would stop her being able to make the dates however in a statement issed by her manager Teal said:

“I was so excited to be asked to be part of this tour there was no way I would dream of pulling out. I've only ever been to Portugal once before, and I can't wait to get back. The people are great, the food is great and hopefully my concerts will be too."

The tour has included performances by other notable singers including Stacey Kent who is signed to the same record label as Clare Teal and will culminate with a show by American star Cassandra Wilson.
