Black History Month is the story of Jazz and what a better place to see that tale unfold than BET Jazz The Jazz Channel! What glorious tale we tell! What a cast of characters we have … a story … only The Jazz Channel can tell all Black History Month long!

Harry Belafonte leads the cast with a trip down The Long Road To Freedom tune into BET Jazz every Sunday in February at 3 and 11 PM Eastern.

In addition, this tale would not be spun without “Satchmo" examine the life of the Pops, Louis Armstrong… every Tuesday in February at 7PM and Midnight.

Then on Thursday February 7th at 9PM tune into BET Jazz for Mr. Magic, Grover Washington Jr. full of performances and an intimate conversation with Sherry Carter on Jazz Scene.

Plus on Thursday February 14th at 8 PM and tune into BET Jazz for a spin on Jazz Central with Betty “Beebop" Carter.

And on Thursday February 21th at 8 PM tune into BET Jazz for another train ride on Jazz Central when Don Pullen takes us into some avante garde jazz.

Finally on Thursday February 28th at 8 PM tune into BET Jazz for Joe Williams: A Song Is Born; a documentary on one of the quintessential voices of jazz.
