Steamer

This exciting jazz quartet is based in Southern California. Founded out of a mutual love for music, these young musicians quickly recognized a chemistry in their playing that could not be denied. All coming from different musical backgrounds, these musicians found a common love for jazz. Steamer features Jennette Lawler on drums, Brandon Cordoba on piano, James Goese on saxophone, and Craig Tsurumoto on bass. Steamer plays a wide variety of jazz styles which include influences ranging from legends such as Bill Evans, Stan Getz, Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, and Ray Brown, to the newer stylings from Jamiroquai, Chris Potter, Dave Holland, and many others. With an extended list of influences and styles, Steamer has developed its own sound, which ranges from straight ahead jazz and bossa, to funk and fusion. Most of all, the art of improvisation is what sets Steamer apart.
