Sandro Azzolini

Sandro Azzolini, born in Florence. He begins to the age of ten years the study of the guitar and the flute passing to the alto sax. He completes classics studies of sax at the School of Music of Fiesole under the guide of Master Luca di Volo, and attends lessons of History of Music from the Prof. Franco Piperno of the University of Florence. He participates to the Seminaries of Improvisation of the Dutch cello player Tristan Honsinger. Oriented to free jazz, partly due to his studies and interests in philosophy and history, he combined a metaphysical and visionary view of his instrument.
