Randal V. Wilson - "Time Well Spent" Now this was a delight. Smooth, guitar
based jazz with a strong sense of spirituality and well being running through it,
this was a delight from start to finish.
An all too brief mini album, the six tracks come and go in less than 25 minutes,
but when the music is as well honed as it is here, you're happy to turn around
and play it all over again. The pleasure is just as pronounced on repeated
listenings as it was the first time around.

Primarily self penned and predominately instrumental, Mr Wilson knows his way
around a fretboard, and there is a delicacy of touch on display which is utterly
delicious. The highlight, though, is the one song which features the vocals of
Stuart Scaggs, 'No Secrets (In The Heart)', which is just a fabulous, fabulous song,
easy without being lazy.
Certainly a name to watch out for. This was a rare treat!

Randal V. Wilson - Time Well Spent The debut release by this hard working
Detroit guitarist is ear candy at its finest. Known mostly as a backing musician,
Wilson moves to the front here with a nice mix of traditional and smooth jazz
along with R&B grooves, sounding in part like a great Larry Coryell disc. The six
cuts are uniformly strong, and the guest vocal by Stuart Scaggs gives the
excellent "No Secrets" a country feel that works well with Wilson's strong guitar
work. Recommended. review from Soul Tracks http://www.soultracks.com/
Thank you so much for sending Randal's CD "Time Well Spent." Really great work.
Everytime I'm looking for new, quality material in the Smooth Jazz, Soul and
Latin scene it's a pleasure to support names outside of the "Big Label Business."
Thanks again
