“PICNIC, el nuevo sonido: pop urbano”

PICNIC prepara su cierre de año, el día sábado 9 de diciembre en The Roxy Live; donde estrenarán su segundo video clip: “Flashear con vos”, dirigido por el reconocido Peko Dócimo, director de videos de Massacre y Fidel Nadal, entre otros y que cuenta con la participación de las bailarinas de FLOW Altas Wachas. Actualmente están finalizando la producción de su primer EP. Se puede encontrar en las plataformas digitales algunos de sus temas como “Difícil para mí”, su primer single lanzado en el 2016, “No estamos solos” y “Flashear con vos”. Son canciones caracterizadas por su estilo pop ecléctico y líricas románticas. “En PICNIC buscamos hacer un estilo novedoso, algo que nunca habíamos hecho antes, ya que los paradigmas de la música cambian constantemente. Somos personas que día a día nos actualizamos y nos renovamos musicalmente, no nos encerramos en ningún estilo. La meta fundamental que tenemos es que nuestra música sea universal y que todos puedan disfrutarlo; queremos transmitir alegría a quienes nos escuchen, que en cada uno de nuestros shows puedan bailar y crear un ambiente festivo” declaran los integrantes de la banda. Agustín y Joan se conocen hace varios años ya que fueron bateristas de algunos grupos que logaron reconocimiento en la escena alternativa latinoamericana como Nerdkis, El Otro yo y Eterna Inocencia. Luego compartieron banda en Russ, Agustín cantaba y Joan en la batería. En 2016 Mariano, Joan y Federico crean la productora Casa808 y comienzan a trabajar en el remix del disco "Bailando Chic” (Russ 2016). Debido al éxito de los remixes, prepararon un show para presentarlos en vivo, lo cual los llevo a componer nuevos temas juntos y crear PICNIC en el año 2016. Se presentaron sobre diversos escenarios de Buenos Aires y la Costa Atlántica (Niceto, Espacio Clarín, M.O.D, The Roxy Live, entre otros). Compartieron escenario con algunos grupos destacados como Bandana, Alfonso el Pintor, Juana La Loca y Boom boom Kid.
