800 Saxophones on the Streets of London

In 2006, saxophonist Andy Shepherd famously opened the London Jazz Festival with a piece for 200 saxophones. This summer's City Of London Festival looks set to dwarf that achievement--with a performance by 800 saxophones.
Fittingly, the performance is called the Leviathan Project. It is the brainchild of renowned saxophonist and composer John Harle, Professor of Saxophone and Chamber Music at the capital's Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
