Murph Aucamp
Murphy’s performing credits include appearances with Gloria Estefan, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Blue Man Group, Arturo O’Farrill, Quincy Jones, Dayramir Gonzalez, Daymé Arocena, Jon Secada, Néstor Torres, Orlando “Maraca” Valle, Nu Deco Ensemble, Palm Beach Symphony, Symphony of the Americas, and as a soloist with the Amarillo Symphony. He has toured internationally with trumpeter Brian Lynch’s “Spheres of Influence” band, and contributed arrangements and percussion on two Grammy-winning albums: “The Omni-American Book Club” - Brian Lynch Big Band, and “American Dreamers” - John Daversa Big Band. Murphy was also previously a finalist in both the New World Symphony Concerto Competition and the Blue Man Group Drum-Off.
Murphy currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
