Katia Leonardo
Portuguese singer, songwriter and voice teacher. Was born in Luanda, followed her academic education in Lisbon and Porto, and continued her formation while traveling to California, Hawaï, Canada. Released her first album of originals, Lullaby Storm in April 2016.

Born and raised in Angola, from a lineage of ancient Fado traditions, Katia was raised in a strong musical environment of African, Brazilian and Portuguese influences. while studing to be a singer and composer she started developing her musical skills working with opera and jazz singers as well as indigenous Xamans. Creating her method with unique vision, she travels around the world teaching vocal improvising with ancient songs words and sounds as the media to fully express with an open heart the hidden exotic creativity as well as to heal aspects related to the voice.
