Patricia Velasquez
Her entire family is from Havana Cuba. Needless to say, she was surrounded by great music of all styles. At the age of four, she started classical piano lessons. In Junior High, she was introduced to Jazz formally. She then went on to Berklee College of Muisc in 1987. Since then she has been performing nationally solo and also with various groups.

Meet Patricia Velasquez: Patricia Velasquez began classical piano lessons at the age of four. In Junior High, she began to study jazz. She attended Berklee College of Music in 1987. She has performed at Stepping Out with the South Central Mass Choir; at Ryles for a blues reunion with Shirley Lewis and guests; at the Acton Jazz Cafe, and at Sculler's with the Pat Braxton Band. Berklee alumnus. Twenty four years of experience teaching all ages, beginner to advanced. Recently had a recital for my private students. (Velasquez Piano Instruction). Also teaching at Norfolk School of Music in Hyde Park, Ma. Current openings for Velasquez piano are Tuesday afternoons to early evenings. Some slots are available Wednesday afternoon also.
