Nicole Hart (Lead Vocals, Harmony & Background Vocals)

"Don't let Atlanta, GA native Nicole Hart's movie star good looks fool you. She can belt out vocals with the best in music. With her full rich tone, impeccable phrasing and precise pitch it's obvious that she is a singer's singer."

~ Sandy Mack, Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues Foundation

Her impressive resume includes work with a variety of music greats such as Harry Belafonte, Billy Joel, Michael Bolton, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley & has opened for Bernard Allison & E.C. Scott, as well as having the distinction of being the first ever Caucasian singer for the R&B supergroup, The Shirelles.

Hand chosen by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Shirley Alston, Nicole recalls:

“I responded to an ad in the NYC paper, The Village Voice, for a black vocalist,” she recalls, “I ran through my qualifications for the musical director over the phone. When he invited me to come down, ‘Just one thing,’ I said, ‘...I’m not black…’ Pause. ‘Well, come down anyway,’ he said. I sang for Shirley & she hired me on the spot.”

Straddling the diverse musical terrain as defined by such icons as Susan Tedeschi, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, & Janis Joplin, Nicole's timeless, powerful, intoxicating voice is beautifully soul-sweet ~ silky, then gritty ~ classic, yet absolutely contemporary, and she is renowned for electrifying stage presence.
