Jerry Pellegrino

Jerry Pellegrino grew up in Plainfield, New Jersey (USA).  A born musician, he started taking piano lessons at age 8.  In high school he added drums to his repertoire, and with his brother Jim went on to study at the prestigious Harlem Jazz Mobile in New York.

Jerry moved out to the West coast in 1979, where he quickly established himself as a performer and teacher in the Los Angeles area.  Still only in his 20's, he appeared in the 1984 Summer Olympics opening ceremonies,

For the last 25 years, Jerry has been dedicated to teaching full time, bringing his love of music to the next generation of performers.  Jerry is a firm believer in the power of music to better the lives of those less fortunate than he. 

Since 2011, he has headlined annual benefit concerts at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, in order to raise money for the R.B. In 2013 he came to indonesia to perform in the Yogyakarta jazz festival, and the IMEX festival. Than he came back again in 2015 to play the Bono Jazz festival, and 2016 to play the Solo jazz festival and now reside in Bali.
