Melissa Hammans

Melissa's honey dripping mezzo lives in virtually every genre-from traditional sounds of classical musical theatre and jazz to the vintage pop sounds of the 50's, 60's, and 70's. Also known for her heartfelt performances and comedic chops, she has been praised for her work on stage in "Smokey Joe's Cafe," "COMPANY," "The Marvelous Wonderettes", "Nunsense" and the NYC premiere of "LOVESICK or Things That Just Don't Happen" to name a few. Inspired by strong female artists pioneering the music and theatre industries, along with the loving kindness and inspiration of many, Melissa began SOUL PICNIC PRODUCTIONS. Off stage she serves as a vocal coach, guest speaker, teacher, and consultant.
