Born into a notorious musical family on the island, raised up in between the very musical cities Santiago de Cuba and La Habana City, where attended to renowned classical music Conservatory , where he got licensed with honors.
Quickly became interested and engaged on the exciting Havana jazz scene, wining the Cuban National Jazz Competition “JoJazz” hosted by Chucho Valdes at age 18 as well an special price from the cuban music academy for an original composition called Parranda en el C.A.I.
At this time leads his own group alongside some of the next generation Cuban Jazz lions as Gaston Joya( currently featured bassist of Chucho Valdes) or the great cuban trumpeter Alejandro Delgado (Interactivo , among others), The Group was both Featured at the Havana Jazz fest and the Barbados Heineken Jazz fest, opening for legends as Kenny Garret, the Yellow Jackets… As well back in Cuba got enrolled with all sorts of pop’ cuban music as “Timba” or cuban-hiphop.
Made the move to Europe in 2007, as he got a scholarship to obtain a master degree at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, but short after quitted the school to pursue a career in Spain, where he was lucky enough to work as studio assistant producer for grammy® winner Hip-Hop MC & producer Yotuel Romero from Orichas, got enrolled at the Onjazz ( Spanish National Jazz Orchestra), and spent 2 years on tour with the Spanish electronica Hero’s Telephunken playing many major Festivals in Spain all across Europe and abroad alongside he shared the stage with names like Aphex Twin or “Fatboy Slim”, experiences that changed his understanding and approach to music, never limiting himself with musical genre ties and borders, or strange misconceptions of what it should be.. or even places, as he has lived through several European cities: Madrid, Barcelona, Brussels, The Canaries Islands, and currently Paris…
Working on a eclectic variety of styles, going from jazz to electronica, has collaborated , to name a few among many others, with:

The ever beautiful Getz/Gilberto may have been the album that popularized the bossa nova when released in 1964, but Antonio Carlos Jobim's Wave was, for me, its instrumental peer.
