Luca Sestak is a phenomenon - pianist and composer may still be young, but he can already look back on a remarkable career: At the age of 11, he published his first videos of his piano playing on the Internet, which made him a young prodigy in the piano scene - today, he’s developed a mature artistic personality that has left this image far behind - already in his mid-20s, his music has taken him all over the world and brought him numerous awards.

With his new album "Lighter Notes" Luca cleverly shows how Chopin becomes funky, Bach would play in a jazz club while making the piano sound like you never thought it could - sometimes even by preparing the instrument with tape or felt for his original compositions.
