Kevin M. Myers

Kevin M. Myers is a professional multi-instrumentalist and vocalist from Harrisburg, PA. His primary instrument being trombone, Kevin also plays piano, organ, baritone, auxiliary percussion, keytar, melodica, and Native American flute. Myers received his formal music training from Messiah College in Grantham, PA where he earned a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Commercial Music and a Minor in Church Music as well as a Master of Music degree in Jazz Trombone Performance from Towson University in Towson, MD. Myers performs regularly with the Hot Jazz band Tongue in Cheek (Baltimore, MD) as well as with his own Trio and Quintet that specializes in bebop and modern Jazz. Kevin continues to give back to the Jazz community of Harrisburg as a member of the Central PA Friends of Jazz and a faculty member at the CPFJ Jazz Camp where he has worked with the likes of Wycliffe Gordon and Tim Warfield Jr. As a freelance musician Kevin has performed with Steve Rudolph, Kirk Reese, Steve Meashey, Mike Pope, Jim McFalls, and more! You can catch Kevin performing in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Frederick (MD), Baltimore, and Washington DC. Kevin is currently the full-time Director of Music at ABVM Church in West Grove, PA and the Music Teacher at the school.
